Meschiya Lake and Her Little Horn Band, a jazz group from New Orleans, are in New York for the next couple of weeks. They are playing at few bars around mostly Brooklyn the next few weeks, but will also be busking in Washington Square Park during the day. From what I’ve checked out, this is one impressive group, and I’ll definitely be heading down to Washington Square Park this weekend to check them out. Here’s some more information and dates they’re playing:

Friday, May 14th – Cafe Moto, 394 Broadway, Brooklyn 9pm
Sunday, May 16th – Jalopy, 315 Columbus St Redhook, Brooklyn, 8pm
Thursday May 20th – Radegast Beer Garten in Williamsburg
Saturday May22nd – Fair Folks and a Goat, 7 E 88th St. Manhatten 4 to 6 pm Zebulon 258 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn 9pm
Sunday May 23rd – Fada Bistro & to 10 pm
